SHIELD Volume 2 #3 pages 6-7
Just to let you know, I’m not done putting up my favorite S.H.I.E.L.D. pages. This issue has a lot of highlights for me.
I don’t believe in an afterlife, but with Moebius, it somehow makes sense. Wherever he is, my voice joins in with the chorus of countless others singing out our thanks to him.
SHIELD #4 pages 18-19
This spread was a lot of fun. Poor Nostradamus. 500 years in a hole.
In panel 2 there is a guy discovering Antarctica. He kind of looks like George Washington, but he was meant to be Mikhail Lomonosov, the Russian polymath. Mikhail theoretically predicted the existence of Antarctica, but didn’t discover it. I guess in the Marvel Universe he did discover it along with the Savage Lands.
